Live at the 24 Hour Relay

It's time to make people laugh for a good cause. Because we are all collectively so weak and athletically inept, instead of running/walking relay-style for the Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay in Vancouver, we'll be performing live for the good people who have volunteered their time for this good cause.

If you're running in the relay on June 20th, stop by the South End Stage at 11pm to catch Triple Play Improv. We hope to see you there. Good luck to all the runners and walkers.

Calling All Improvisers: Audition Notice

Looking for an opportunity to take your improv skills to the short film genre?

Zut Alors Productions is looking for improvisers for a short film project at BCIT called Shadow Hands. The film documents the fictional life and times of Jean-Michel, a hand shadow puppeteer who rose from humble beginnings in Quebec to become the world's most renowned shadow artist of the 1960s and 70s.

Audition Dates: 21 June (1-5pm) and 27 June (1-5pm)

Another Great Night of Improv: Confirmed

Triple Play Improv had another great night of comdey at Café Deux Soleils. We want to thank everyone who came to see the show and continue to support our group.

As we get ready for out summer shows (with the full cast), we hope you'll pass on the word about our next show at Café Deux Soleils on July 14th. Note that the show will start at 9pm (one hour later than usual).

Just a few more days until our next show at Café Deux Soleils. The show is on June 9th at 8pm. Tickets are just $5 at the door. As usual, we'll have a great opening act and fun-filled night of improv comedy. This month we feature two great stand up comics: Antoinette and Stuart Palfrey. See you there!

Now with 100% More Nathan

We are proud to announce a new addition to the Triple Play Improv family: Nathan Woollard (see blurry cell phone picture)! After guest-starring in our April show at Café Deux Soleils and premiering in the May show, Nathan decided that it was just not enough for him so he has now joined the group.

Improv fans might recognize Nathan from UBC Improv and Tickle Me Pickle. Famous for his completely random outbursts and ideas, Nathan brings a new energy to the Triple Play Improv stage.

While the addition of Nathan as the fifth member of the group further erodes the logic of our name, "Quituple Play Improv" just didn't resonate with fans according to our market research.
