Stuff We Like
Jeremy Jacobson
Jeremy has loved making people laugh since he was 7 years old. It was at the age of 11 Jeremy actually began to perform. Starting with various TV commercials and cartoon voices Jeremy eventually found his way onto the stage. He played Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls and even did a little Shakespeare (although he had no idea what he was saying). It was high school where he was first exposed to improv, participating in the Canadian Improv Games. After high school Jeremy tried his hand at Stand-up comedy, performing at Yuk Yuk's. It was the discovery of the UBC Improv Theater Society that brought Jeremy back to improvised theater and he has been doing that ever since. At UBC Jeremy and the other members (Andrea and Sean included) built up a huge following. The shows would have 200+ audience members and they even started performing off campus as improvisers for hire. After graduation Jeremy helped found the Mocking Horse Theater Society (with Andrea) or Mock Improv. After that Jeremy retired from the Improv game to focus on school.
Now he is very excited about getting back on stage with Triple Play Improv and hoping to once again make people laugh.
Sean Kheraj
Sean has been performing in improv shows longer than he can remember. That's not to say that he has a lot of experience, but that he has no long-term memory. According to our records he first started performing in high school when he played for Cariboo Hill Secondary in the Canadian Improv Games. After his illustrious career in the CIG, Sean moved on to UBC where he met an odd bunch of improvisers and helped form the UBC Improv Theatre Society. As the president of UBC Improv, for three years Sean performed in numerous shows with many talented actors who made him look good on stage. After UBC Improv many things happened that had little to do with improv. Then one day he met up with a couple of UBC Improv alumni and formed Triple Play Improv, the greatest thing since canned bread.
Nathan Wollard
Though his origins are shrouded in myth, it is known that UBC Improv was the first time Nathan had realized that the strange things he did were considered by many to be "improvised theatre." Performing with the likes of Jeremy Jacobson, Sean Kheraj and Andrea Noble, Nathan's two years with UBC Improv left him deeply addicted to audience applause. Nathan soon found himself performing with Tickle Me Pickle Improv, based out of Richmond. Amazing monthly shows and great gigs in the community ensued. After several years with Tickle, Nathan focused his attention back to school. Dedicating his time to the dark arts of mathematics at UBC, Nathan never forgot his love of improv. Overjoyed at the chance to perform with Triple Play Improv in the spring of 2009, Nathan once again shares the stage with amazingly talented and attractive improvisers who have great smelling breath and silky smooth skin. For a full list of the beauty products used by Triple Play Improv come to one of our shows and rummage through our bags when we're on stage.

Andrea Noble
Andrea Noble loves the stage because it is a safe place to explore endless possibilities, characters, and bizarre ideas. She strives to bring enjoyment, fun and humor into her life and the lives of others. Andrea is proud to be a performer because she believes that entertainers are vital to our society.
At the age of two, she jumped into her first role with enthusiasm and ease as Goldilocks in Goldilocks and the Three Bears. She was hooked and continued her involvement with community theatre, school plays and musicals. As well, during her youth, she studied piano with the Toronto Royal Conservatory, was a member of the Vancouver Bach Children’s Choir and was a singer and dancer in the diverse musical ensemble Chantelope.
After high school, Andrea entered University on a full scholarship where she was drawn deeper and deeper into the Fine Arts. Not only is she a musician, performer and visual artist, but she completed her BFA in Honours Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia. Her creative writing has allowed her to enter the world behind the scenes. In fact, one of her favorite University experiences involved working with a team of other students to bring her own play to the stage for the Dirty Hands Festival in 2003. Outside of class-time, her passion for spontaneous theatre grew and the UBC Improv club became her second home. She consistently performed on and off-campus as a UBC Improv Varsity Team player for many years. As well, she trained with Vancouver Theatresports where she honed her skills and learned even more about improv. After graduating from UBC in 2003, she became apart of the fast paced Mocking Horse troupe who performed Mock Improv shows on a regular basis.
Andrea is grateful to have been able to share her love for Improv with so many talented and creative people. She is excited about Triple Play Improv and loves working with her fellow performers Sean, Jeremy, and Robin as they are all incredibly brilliant and fun to hang out with. She will continue to cherish the zany and unique moments ahead. Her guarantee is that no matter what happens on-stage, Improv creates a fresh and exciting energy unlike any other theatre experience.
